Allie & Alina

We continue to share more of our warriors this week and wanted to provide a brief update on Alina from Alina’s Army  and also remember Allie during Histiocytosis Awareness Month.

Here's their stories from Allie and Alina's parents:

"Allie was diagnosed with HLH at just 3 months old and had her transplant at 8 months old on February 28, 2020. Unfortunately, due to complications, she passed away at 10 months old on April 16, 2020. She is now flying high with other HLH Angels, and we know she’s watching over her little sister, Alina.

Alina was diagnosed with HLH on May 8, 2023, and had her transplant on June 29, 2023 at just 7 months old. Today, she is thriving 3 years post-transplant and absolutely loving life. She is the most outgoing little girl who loves to talk, make friends wherever she goes, and spread happiness to everyone she meets. Watching her grow and enjoy life is something we never take for granted."
